Annual Day – “Celebrace 25”
Grace Institutions celebrated its Annual Day – Celebrace 25 with great enthusiasm and joy on October 29, 2025. The event brought together students, faculty, staff, and distinguished guests to commemorate of academic excellence, service, and growth.
The celebration began with a Prayer Song by the College Choir followed by the Bible Reading and Prayer led by Rev. Dr. Sutheeban, Ph.D., Pastor of the CSI Pastorate Church, Viralikadu.
The auspicious Lighting of the Kuthuvilakku was performed by Mrs. Geetha Barns, M.A. (Psychology), M.A. (Population Studies), M.Phil., Correspondent of Grace Institutions and Chief Governance Officer of Grace Hospital.
Following the lighting ceremony, Dr. John Samuel B., M.S. (Ophthalmology), FVR, MBA (Hospital Management), Director Dr. John Eye Hospital, CEO Grace Hospital, and Treasurer the Grace Educational and Charitable Trust, delivered the Welcome Address, extending heartfelt greetings to the dignitaries and audience.
The Presidential Address was given by Dr. Barns Joy, MBBS, DFM, FCGP, Chairman and Master Integrator of Grace Institutions and Grace Hospital, who emphasized the institution’s vision of academic excellence combined with compassionate service.
A detailed Annual Report was then presented by representatives :

- > College of Nursing
Mr. S. Thaya Singh, M.A., M.Sc. (Radiology), DTT., DPHM., Academic Administrator of Grace Institutions, introduced the Chief Guest, Mr. Nanjil Sampath, M.A., M.Phil., a renowned public speaker and regional leader of the DMK Party, who delivered an inspiring College Day Address encouraging students to pursue excellence and integrity in all their endeavors.
The Guest of Honor, Dr. Krishna Kumar, MBBS, MS (Ortho), Managing Director of K.K. Ortho Hospital, Nagercoil, shared words of wisdom and congratulated the institution on its remarkable journey.
This was followed by a Felicitation Address by Mrs. Geetha Barns, highlighting the dedication and collective efforts behind Grace Institutions’ continued success.
The event also featured a Prize Distribution Ceremony, recognizing outstanding academic achievers and talented students across various departments.
In his Vote of Thanks, Dr. Mathias R., MBA, B.Ed., PGDHA, DMM, Ph.D., General Manager of Grace Institutions, expressed gratitude to all guests, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
The celebration concluded with a vibrant lineup of Cultural Events performed by the talented students from various departments of Grace Institutions.
